Two drivers from the Monaco GP’s glittering roll of honour, last year’s race winner Nico Rosberg and 2005 victor Kimi Raikkonen, are among the six names who have been selected for Wednesday’s Drivers’ Press Conference in the Principality.

With tradition dictating that the Monte Carlo race week begins a day earlier than the rest of the calendar, the drivers will face the international media on Wednesday afternoon with the FIA conference live on Sky Sports F1 at 2pm.

Twelve months on from emulating his father Keke in winning F1’s most famous race, Rosberg’s title challenge could do with another victory this weekend following the German’s four straight defeats by Mercedes team-mate, and fellow Monaco resident, Lewis Hamilton.

Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen could also do with claiming an intra-team victory over Fernando Alonso himself and the Finn is joined in Wednesday’s line-up by his in-form countryman Valtteri Bottas of Williams.

And in the continuing absence of a French GP, the press conference line-up is completed by F1’s three Frenchmen – Lotus’s Romain Grosjean, Toro Rosso’s Jean-Eric Vergne and Marussia’s Jules Bianchi.

Thursday’s post-practice team bosses’ conference, meanwhile, will feature an F1 first as Ferrari’s new Team Principal Marco Mattiacci makes his debut appearance since succeeding Stefano Domeniciali ahead of last month’s Chinese GP.

Mattiacci will be joined by two more recently-installed team chiefs, McLaren Racing Director Eric Boullier and Lotus Deputy Team Principal Federico Gastaldi, along with Claire Williams, Red Bull's Christian Horner and Mercedes’ Toto Wolff.
