Lewis Hamilton was unable to complete his scheduled media engagements on Thursday at Shanghai after being taken unwell.

Although Hamilton travelled to the Shanghai International Circuit, his visit was shortlived with Mercedes sending the 2008 World Champion back to his hotel after he reported feeling unwell.

At this stage, there is no indication that Hamilton's participation in this weekend's event - round three of the 2013 World Championship - is in doubt.
