What is turning into a gripping season has taken us to some far-flung places so far in 2012 but Formula 1 has now touched back down in its European heartland and, with a rare chance to complete some in-season testing done and dusted, the paddock reconvenes in Barcelona for this weekend's Santander Spanish Grand Prix.

And Sky Sports F1, as ever, will be there to bring you all the action live in glorious high definition and Dolby digital 5.1 surround sound across all three days of the Grand Prix weekend at the Circuit de Catalunya.
In a change of routine that we hope you approve of, our coverage from Barcelona actually begins on Thursday afternoon with a live broadcast of the F1 Drivers' Press Conference at 2pm featuring Fernando Alonso, Pedro De La Rosa, Nico Hulkenberg, Kamui Kobayashi, Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel.
Don't miss it! (Although, if you do, it's then repeated at 7pm and 8.30pm).
Friday's coverage of Practice then gets underway with the first 90-minute session at 8.45am, with the second session on the air from 12.45pm.
Then get your F1 weekend underway with Practice 3 from 9.45 on Saturday, before our Qualifying show starts at 12 noon. During our hour-long build you will be able to see footage of 1997 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve's poignant trip down his family's memory lane when he took to Ferrari's Fiorano circuit in his father Gilles' 1979 312T4 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the great Canadian racer's death this week.
And then for race day, join Simon Lazenby, Martin Brundle, Ted Kravitz and the rest of the team for all the build up to the fifth Grand Prix of the season at 11.30am, ahead of a 1pm race start. Our pre-race show will include a track guide with Mark Webber and the latest installation in our 'How to do...' series - the formation lap.
