Jabo Ibehre's late goal earned Walsall a point in the 1-1 draw with Yeovil at Huish Park.

Sadders and Glovers share the spoils

Jabo Ibehre struck a 76th-minute equaliser to cancel out Yeovil new-boy Gavin Tomlin's debut strike and earn Walsall a point in the 1-1 draw at Huish Park. Tomlin, plucked out of the Blue Square South league by Glovers boss Russell Slade, took just 10 minutes to get on the scoresheet on his League One debut. The youngster, who scored 24 goals for Fisher Athletic last season, was on hand to knock in the rebound when Paul Warne had his shot charged down by goalkeeper Clayton Ince. But Walsall hit back strongly in the second half with the wind and rain at their back and grabbed an equaliser following a stern period of pressure. It came after 76 minutes following an under-hit backpass by Yeovil skipper Terry Skiverton and Iberhe capitalised to slide the ball under goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
