Fuller doubtful for Midlands derby

Wolves go into their fixture at Molineux in a local derby against Stoke on Sunday hoping to bounce back from their last-gasp defeat to Arsenal. Mick McCarthy's men have been on a good run of form of late; having gone unbeaten in four games prior to Nicklas Bendtner's late winner at the Emirates, and should leave them in good stead to be playing Premiership football next season. The last time the sides met, Wolves came from two goals down to level matters at the Britannia Stadium in November with centre-back Jody Craddock grabbing a brace for the visitors. There is a chance that Wolves will be just two points off the drop zone should Hull City and West Ham win their respective fixtures on Saturday, and McCarthy will be desperate to see his side prevail to stave off the threat of relegation Wolves are certain to be without skipper Karl Henry for three games after deciding not to go through with an appeal against his dismissal after being sent off against Arsenal. However they have no further injury worries after striker Sylvan Ebanks Blake recovered from a virus to play for their reserve side in midweek, which could see him return to the bench. With McCarthy's side tightening their defence and conceding fewer goals in recent times, Tony Pulis' men may struggle to find the net having only scored nine goals away from home all season.

Fuller doubt

The Potters' chances have taken a further blow with the news that Ricardo Fuller may not feature after picking up an ankle injury in their 2-0 win over Hull and was withdrawn at the interval. Fuller, who has scored in his last two games, is Pulis' only real concern however, with Mamady Sidibe or Tuncay ready to take his place should he fail a fitness test. Young striker Louis Moult may make the step up to the bench. James Beattie did figure for the reserve team on Tuesday after recovering from a knee injury, but it unlikely to make the squad. Possible starting XI's: Wolves: Hahnemann, Zubar, Craddock, Berra, Elokobi, Foley, Ward, Mancienne, Jones, Jarvis, Doyle Stoke: Sorensen, Wilkinson, Huth, Higginbotham, Collins, Whitehead, Delap, Whelan, Etherington, Tuncay, Kitson
