Arsenal go in search of a response to their recent setback as they travel to Molineux.

Gunners have received more red cards than any league team this term

Arsenal go in search of a response to their recent setback as they travel to Molineux to lock horns with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday night. The Gunners were defeated at home by Newcastle in their last outing as their title bid suffered a setback, with the club currently third in the table and five points behind leaders Chelsea. Wolves, meanwhile, sit in the relegation zone after their painful, late loss at Old Trafford on Saturday, although their last home match saw them slay Manchester City. Mick McCarthy will be wary of Arsenal after they triumphed 4-1 in last season's corresponding fixture, while Wolves have won none of the last 15 matches against their opponents in all competitions. The Midlands club have no new injury problems ahead of the clash, with Jody Craddock still getting back to fitness after recovering from a hip injury and Ronald Zubar out with an ankle complaint.

    Team news

Adlene Guedioura's broken leg makes him a long-term absentee while Michael Kightly is recovering from an operation on his knee. For Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, Laurent Koscielny sits out after seeing his appeal against his sending-off against Newcastle dismissed. Koscielny will serve an immediate two-match ban, joining fellow centre-half Thomas Vermaelen (Achilles), midfielder Abou Diaby (ankle), left-back Kieran Gibbs (knee) and Aaron Ramsey (broken leg) on the sidelines. Should goalkeeper Manuel Almunia recover from an elbow injury, he could supplant Lukasz Fabianski in goal. Andrey Arshavin is also pushing for a start after coming off the bench on Saturday, although the best fellow forward Robin van Persie (ankle) can hope for is another substitute appearance.
    Possible starting XIs:
Arsenal: Fabianski, Sagna, Squillaci, Djourou, Clichy, Song, Fabregas, Wilshere, Nasri, Chamakh, Arshavin. Wolves: Hahnemann, Foley, Berra, Stearman, Ward, Jarvis, Edwards, Henry, Milijas, Hunt, Doyle.
