Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Walsall and Leyton Orient at the Banks's Stadium.

Walsall have an almost fully-fit squad. Midfielder Jake Jones (ankle) is the only absentee but, with the youngster unlikely to start, manager Dean Smith will still be able to field his first-choice XI. That means summer signings David Grof, Lee Beevers, Mat Sadler, Anton Peterlin, Claude Gnakpa, Kevan Hurst, Ryan Jarvis and Adam Chambers will all be competing to start. It will be an early reunion with Orient for former O's striker Jarvis and midfielder Chambers, the latter of whom is the London club's longest-serving player with almost 200 appearances before he switched to the Saddlers. The encounter also sees Smith come up against his former employers having played for and been both youth-team coach and assistant manager at Orient. O's skipper Stephen Dawson won't make the trip. The influential midfielder has an ankle injury and is rated extremely doubtful for the opening game of the season. New striker David Mooney tweaked a hamstring in a friendly against Tottenham last weekend will need a late fitness check. Boss Russell Slade is also without goalkeeper Jamie Jones, who has missed all of pre-season with a shoulder problem, so deputy Lee Butcher will don the gloves. Summer signing Jamie Cureton should start in attack after shaking off a recent ankle injury. Fellow new recruits Scott Cuthbert, Leon McSweeney and Marc Laird are also in line to make their Orient debuts.
