Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Tranmere and Yeovil at Prenton Park.

Tranmere boss Les Parry will be without defender Mark McChrystal and midfielder Andy Robinson. McChrystal sustained a foot injury and Robinson suffered a hamstring strain during Tuesday's win over Port Vale in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy first round. They were both replaced during the match and Parry fears the pair are set for a prolonged spell on the sidelines. However, veteran defender Ian Goodison is poised to return after being rested in midweek and Enoch Showunmi should also come back into contention after shaking off a strain. Striker Adam McGurk has been troubled by a thigh injury but is also edging closer to full fitness and will be assessed ahead of the game. Meanwhile Yeovil could welcome three defenders back into their ranks following injuries. Bondz N'Gala is nearing fitness following a hamstring injury and Kerrea Gilbert suffered a similar injury in their match against Oldham. Assistant manager Nathan Jones had been playing through the pain of a broken shoulder but has a chance of returning against Rovers. Manager Terry Skiverton told the Western Gazette: "Bondz N'Gala is not far off, but the weekend might come too quickly for him. We were looking to get a game in for Dominic Blizzard and Kerrea Gilbert, so they may play 15-20 minutes just to try and get them up to speed a little bit quicker. "Nathan should be okay but has got to get through a couple of days training first. Fingers crossed with him, he is an outside chance as well." Meanwhile, Curtis Haynes-Brown will miss the trip to Merseyside as he serves a suspension.
