Toulouse and Bordeaux continue to look for their first win of the season after they drew 1-1 on Saturday.

Israel international Eden Ben Basat earned Toulouse a 1-1 draw against Bordeaux as both sides continue to look for their first win of the season. Alain Casanova's men were humbled 3-0 by Valenciennes in week one, while Bordeaux ran into the money machine of Monaco and were beaten 2-0. The visitors had opened the scoring through Cheick Diabate tonight - the Mali international scoring two minutes before half-time - but held the lead for barely two minutes as Ben Basat chimed in. Both sides will perhaps take a point in view of their opening-day losses, with Bordeaux's the more credible after they lost Marc Planus to a 28th-minute red card. Knowing that they may well have taken a draw, although they did start well with Ludovic Obraniak going close with a sixth-minute lob. Toulouse responded as Serge Aurier forced a fine save out of Cedric Carrasso, before Planus saw red for hacking down Wissam Ben Yedder. Bordeaux's response was anything but negative and Henry Saivet drilled in a low effort which was blocked, before Saivet pounced on a poor clearance to release Diabate who cashed in a one-on-one. Their numerical disadvantage meant holding their lead was always going to be hard, but Bordeaux buckled almost instantly as Ben Basat tapped in after Carrasso failed to deal with Jeremy Brechet's bundled effort. It was all Toulouse after that as their extra man took a hold, with Ben Yedder working Carrasso after the break and the same player drawing a fine clearance from Mariano. Issiaga Sylla then forced Carrasso into a stunning save with a brilliant header and, when Panxti Sirieix crashed an 81st-minute header against the bar, it was apparent it was not going to be Toulouse's day.
