Spurs look to bounce back against League One Addicks

Tottenham will aim to get back to winning ways as they host managerless Charlton in the FA Cup third round on Sunday. Spurs saw a run of three straight victories come to an end on Wednesday as they went down to a 2-1 defeat at Everton. But they host a Charlton side still reeling from the sacking of manager Phil Parkinson, with Keith Peacock having been placed in temporary charge. Parkinson was axed after Monday's 4-2 home defeat by Swindon, which left the Addicks without a win in five league games, a run that has seen them slide from second to fifth in League One - now nine points behind league leaders Brighton.

    Team news

Tottenham are still without defender Younes Kaboul as he serves the last game of a three-match ban for being sent off in the 2-1 win over Newcastle. England striker Jermain Defoe is available again, though, after serving his own three-match ban. Alan Hutton (foot) and William Gallas (hamstring) came through the midweek defeat but manager Harry Redknapp may make changes to rotate his squad and rest the defensive duo. Redknapp is hoping to finalise a loan deal for former England captain David Beckham this weekend but he would not be available in time. Beckham could be in attendance at White Hart Lane on Sunday and make his Spurs debut in next week's home game against his former club Manchester United. Carlo Cudicini (shoulder), Tom Huddlestone (ankle), Ledley King (groin), Jamie O'Hara (back) and Jonathan Woodgate (groin) all remain sidelined. Charlton are without striker Paul Benson as he continues a three-match ban for his red card in the 3-3 draw at Colchester on New Year's Day.
