AC Milan continued their recent Serie A resurgence with an eye-catching 4-2 win on the road at Torino.

AC Milan continued their recent Serie A resurgence with an eye-catching win on the road at Torino. Successive wins over Juventus and Catania had lightened the mood in the Milan camp after a dismal start to the campaign, and this convincing victory means Massimiliano Allegri's men are now well involved in the pack jostling for the European berths. Milan's victory came the hard way after they fell behind to a Mario Santana strike, but goals from Robinho, Antonio Nocerino, Giampaolo Pazzini and Stephan El Shaarawy took the game away from the hosts. Rolando Bianchi added a second for Torino with 10 minutes remaining but by then Giampiero Ventura's men were already resigned to a fourth match without victory. Neither side had created much prior to Torino taking the lead on 28 minutes when a swift counter-attack culminated with Santana sweeping the ball home left-footed from the centre of the area. Milan were back on level terms five minutes before the break when Mattia De Sciglio found Robinho and the Brazilian took aim with a superb strike into the top-right corner. The visitors took the lead in the 53rd minute after a fine team move that began with Robinho playing in El Shaarawy, whose cross found the head of Nocerino who made no mistake. Eight minutes later it was 3-1 as Pazzini advanced into the area and forcefully shrugged off the attentions of his marker before finding the right corner of the net with a low finish. Milan's four-goal salvo was completed in the 76th minute as Torino goalkeeper Jean Francois Gillet failed to deal with Nocerino's cross and El Shaarawy had an easy task to turn the ball into the empty net. Torino reduced the deficit in the 80th minute as Bianchi headed into the top corner from Valter Birsa's cross, but Milan had no trouble in seeing out the remaining time.
