The final whistle has gone and what a fantastic advert for the Premier League. Outstanding performance by both sides. Southampton really had a go in the first period and Stoke deserve credit for coming back with only ten men.
Begovioc long clearance flicked on by Crouch. Jerome is clean through and lofts it over Davis and into the net. He moved too quickly though and was flagged offside.
As the clock ticks down, Stoke are 9/2 to salvage a draw with Sky Bet Cameron Jerome 20/1 to score next
Crouch takes a tumble and it allows Southampton to break. Rodriguez gets in behind but he over hits the ball to Lambert who couldn't get anywhere near it
Walters really working hard. He wins a corner but it fails to beat the first man. Stoke City will have to deliver far better
Shotton again trying his best down the right. Another throw-in flicked on by Jones into the danger area but Davis gathers
Jones flicks on Shotton's long throw but it's hooked away by Davis and a Southampton defender. Then on the next attack Jones gets a yard and fires over. 10 men doesn't appear to be a problem so far for Stoke.
GOAL STOKE CITY! Upson scores. Southampton fail to clear. Jones first shot is blocked by Fonte and Upson does brilliantly to force in.
Massive chance for Guly to put the game beyond Stoke. Lambert gets the better of Huth and plays Rodriguez in perfectly. Begovic saves but when the ball falls to Guly he hits wide. Big miss
Mayhem in the Stoke defence again. Cork plays in Rodriguez and he rounds Begovic but Huth is there to clear in time
Another Stoke City corner. Not dealt with well but Guly of all people is on hand to clear. Stoke getting closer.
