Shrewsbury v Coventry preview

Team news for Tuesday night's League One clash between Shrewsbury and Coventry at Greenhous Meadow.

Shrewsbury boss Graham Turner is expected to wield the axe. The Shrews are without a win in their last four matches, having collected just two points along the way. Jon Taylor failed a fitness test on a knee injury before Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Scunthorpe but is expected to return. The winger has been ruled out of the last two matches and his return would ensure a fully-fit squad. Defender Michael Hector may come back in to the starting line-up having had to settle for a place on the bench last weekend following his return from a knee problem. Attacking trio Asa Hall, Ryan Doble and Aaron Wildig were all introduced as substitutes against the Iron and could be in contention for a starting role. Coventry midfielder John Fleck is in contention to start after recovering from the hamstring injury that has hampered him all season. Fleck, a summer signing from Rangers, played for the last 10 minutes of the Sky Blues' 2-0 defeat to Tranmere on Saturday and is on the road to making a full recovery. Fellow midfielder David Bell will definitely miss out once again with a hip injury, though, meaning caretaker boss Richard Shaw looks set to name an unchanged squad. Coventry have just three points from their first six games and sit 23rd in the npower League One table. Shaw, who is one of nine candidates to have been interviewed for the managerial vacancy, will be looking to get a win on the board to increase his chances of getting the job on a permanent basis.
