Image: Aidy White: Struggling with a sprained ankle

Team news for Sunday's League One clash between Sheffield United and Tranmere Rovers at Bramall Lane.

Sheffield United will be without on-loan Leeds midfielder Aidy White for their home game against Tranmere. White sprained an ankle in the Boxing Day day draw against Oldham and has returned to his parent club for treatment so his replacement Jamie Murphy is expected to return to the starting line-up. Boss Nigel Clough has no other new injury or suspension problems as his side bid to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to eight matches. Winger Febian Brandy, plus midfielders Simon Lappin and Ryan Flynn are among those pushing for recalls. Tranmere will welcome back defender Jim McNulty when they travel to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United. The 28-year-old defender missed the 1-0 Boxing Day win at Shrewsbury after picking up his fifth yellow card but should reclaim his place in the Rovers starting XI on his return. Skipper James Wallace was replaced in the 72nd minute during that victory at New Meadow after taking a knock to the head and it remains to be seen if the former Stockport man will recover in time. However, fellow midfielder Andy Robinson made a goal-scoring return to the starting XI, despite having been out since August with a knee injury, and could retain his place in the centre of the park after impressing.
