    Sheffield Utd v Bury preview

Image: Quinn: Back to boost Blades

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Sheffield United and Bury at Bramall Lane.

Sheffield United host Bury without Jordan Slew after the 18-year-old striker completed a move to Blackburn on transfer deadline day. The Blades will also be without Daniel Bogdanovic who moved to Blackpool and are unable to confirm whether loan bids for Kyle Hutton and John Fleck were successful. Stephen Quinn will, however, be available to face the Shakers after Blades boss Danny Wilson fended off late interest in his popular winger. Fellow Irishman David McAllister impressed in United's 2-1 Johnstone's Paint Trophy win at Burton on Tuesday, scoring the equaliser before Erik Tonne's late winner, and could retain his place in midfield. But Wilson will be without midfield trio Nick Montgomery, Lee Williamson and Kevin McDonald as he seeks to extend the club's unbeaten start to the league season. Montgomery and McDonald are nursing ankle injuries while a thigh injury is keeping Williamson out of action. Meanwhile Bury boss Richie Barker is set to hand debuts to a trio of new signings when his side travel to Sheffield United. Midfielder Giles Coke has joined on an initial two-month loan deal from Sheffield Wednesday and the void left by the departure of Ryan Lowe has been filled by the arrival of Northampton striker Shaun Harrad on a three-year deal. Barker has also signed rookie Leicester midfielder Shane Byrne on a month's loan, and all three new-boys are in line to feature at Bramall Lane. Midfielder Damien Mozika followed Lowe out of Gigg Lane when he joined Scunthorpe this week. Defender Mark Hughes, midfielder Steven Schumacher and striker Mark Cullen all remain sidelined through injury but the Shakers have no suspension concerns.
