European titans Real Madrid and Juventus lock horns for the second time in a fortnight with the Spanish side looking for revenge. Juve got the better of Real 2-1 in the first meeting in Turin thanks to goals from Alessandro Del Piero and Amauri. Real are boosted by the return of top scorer Ruud van Nistelrooy with the Dutchman having recovered from a knee injury he picked up in Turin. Bernd Schuster also has Michel Salgado available again, but Christoph Metzelder, Ruben de la Red, Miguel Torres, Javi Garcia and Jordi Codina remain sidelined. Juventus currently sit top of Group H and a win at the Santiago Bernabeu would move them a step closer to qualification for the knockout stages. The Bianconeri make the trip to the Spanish capital without a number of key stars. Gianluigi Buffon, Jorge Andrade, Jonathan Zebina, Cristiano Zanetti, David Trezeguet, Christian Poulsen, Hasan Salihamidzic, Dario Knezevic and Zdenek Grygera are all long-term absentees for Claudio Ranieri's men.
