Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa will both be looking to build on promising starts to the season when they lock horns at Loftus Road on Sunday.
It looked like it would be a tough campaign for QPR following a heavy opening-day loss to Bolton, but their fortunes have been revived since Tony Fernandes completed a takeover of the club.
Neil Warnock was able to bring in a raft of new signings before the transfer deadline and he will have been delighted with the way they have all settled in.
Having dominated a goalless draw with Newcastle, QPR got their rewards last weekend with a 3-0 victory at Wolves that propelled them into the top half of the Premier League.
Warnock was able to name an unchanged line-up at Molineux and will hope to field the same XI again this weekend.
Danny Gabbidon was forced from the field against Wolves but his knee injury has proved to be less serious than initially feared and he is now racing to be fit for the visit of Villa.
DJ Campbell is also pushing for a start after stepping off the substitutes' bench to score the third goal last time out.
Kieron Dyer (foot) and Rob Hulse (knee) remain sidelined, while Clint Hill this week joined Nottingham Forest on loan.
Aston Villa are level on seven points with QPR but are three places higher by virtue of their superior goal difference.
Alex McLeish's men are unbeaten in their opening five Premier League games, which have included four draws, but they did lose at home to Bolton in the Carling Cup on Tuesday.
McLeish named a strong side for the clash in an effort to go deeper into the competition and the setback will have left him with plenty to ponder ahead of the trip to London.
Emile Heskey is not quite ready to return following injury but McLeish is hopeful that midfielder Jermaine Jenas will be fit after overcoming a strain.
Darren Bent, who has had to deny criticising the manager's tactics this week, has been ruled out of the match with a groin problem.
