Team news for Tuesday night's League Two clash between Oxford United and Southend at the Kassam Stadium.

Oxford boss Chris Wilder has a fully-fit squad to choose from for the Southend clash. The U's kicked off the new campaign with a 2-0 win at Bristol Rovers and will be hoping for another win as they get their home season under way. With no suspension or fresh injury concerns Wilder may elect to name an unchanged line up. Defender Alex Evans is still waiting to make his debut for the club following his move from Cardiff and is likely to again settle for a place on the bench. Striker Jon-Paul Pittman was only fit enough to join Evans on the bench last weekend after recovering from an abdominal strain, but will hoping to make a bigger contribution against the Shrimpers. Meanwhile, manager Paul Sturrock faces a selection conundrum for Southend. The Shrimpers boss must decide whether to hand new goalkeeper Paul Smith his debut whilst also considering if Michael Timlin can play again after he made a surprise comeback from a shoulder injury in Saturday's 1-0 defeat against Accrington. Striker Freddy Eastwood remains sidelined with a calf problem whilst fellow forward Barry Corr (groin) is also unavailable, but midfielder John Spicer is back in contention. Sturrock told the club's official website: "It is a catch 22 as Paul Smith hasn't played a game yet. "That's a bit like John Spicer as he has been injured also and can Timlin play again on Tuesday having played on Saturday? "There is a lot of debate and thinking to do."
