Thanks for joining me for today's game and thanks for all your comments. Sorry I couldn't get them all up - it was quite an eventful game! However, keep sending me them throughout the season and I'll do my best to air your views.
Well, that is another harsh lesson in Premier League football for Norwich City. They sank further and further back as the half went on and paid the price for defending on their own 18 yard line. Credit to Stoke though, they never gave up and showed why they are such a difficult team to beat.
A free-kick is launched into the Stoke area and Begovic rises but drops the ball. The referee though blows for a foul on the Stoke 'keeper.
Goal for Stoke! Norwich pay the price for defending far too deep. Whelan puts in a ball from the right and Kenwyne Jones rises highest to plant the ball beyond Ruddy into the corner. Heartbreak for the Canaries. Joy for the Potters.
Wilson puts in a dangerous cross that De Laet does well to head away. They are defending very deep though Norwich, still enough time for Stoke to carve out one last chance.
I feel for the Norwich fan sat in row Z this afternoon. He or she is again ducking for cover as Dean Whitehead fires another shot over the bar.
Jonathan Walters looks to latch onto a thoughball but goalscorer De Laet does really well to see the ball out of play for a goal-kick.
Glenn Whelan lines-up a shot this time, but he also skies it. Stoke have been wasteful in front of goal this afternoon.
What a miss! Shotton does well on the overlap and crosses low from the right. Jones is free 8 yards out, bang in front of goal, but somehow puts the ball over the bar. Let off for Norwich that.
John Ruddy is having an excellent game. On this occasion he is alert to the danger and rushes out to claim the ball with Jones lurking.
The resulting corner fizzes right across goal and Robert Huth is inches away from getting a toe to the ball.
Shotton curls in a wicked cross from the right that looked to be curling towards goal. A surprised John Ruddy does well to tip the ball out for a corner.
The Norwich fans are calling for a red card as Martin goes down follwing an aerial challenge with Ryan Shawcross - who has already been booked. It never really looked like a booking though and the ref was right to just award the free-kick.
Shotton hurls a 'Delap-esque' long throw into the box that evades everyone, but Ruddy is alert and claims at his feet.
Mustafa says via email: "That was a scandalous decision. It was barely a penalty and never a red. Anyhow, justice was done with the miss..."
Walters manages to squirm free in the area but he is pushed wide and his shot from the angle skews wide.
Looking back at the penalty incident it looks like the initial challenge was outside the box and it is debatable whether a goal-scoring opportunity was denied. I think Norwich can consider themselves hard done by there. It will be interesting to hear what the two managers think after the game.
Saved!!!!! Ex-Ipswich man Jonathan Walters sees his spot-kick pushed away by John Ruddy. The Norwich fans are loving that!
Leon barnett tangles with Walters in the box, both players go down and the referee gives a penalty, senidng Barnett off in the process. Looked harsh to me that.
Dale sitting by a swimming pool in Egypt (not jealous at all) says via email: "Good luck to the canaries today, back in the big league. Regarding the sparrow comment. Just remember Mr Stoke fan, you were a very small fish in a big pond not that long ago and your survival fight may be just as difficult. "
Norwich fall asleep from the corner, allowing Stoke to take it short. However, the eventual cross is over-hit and the ball drifts out for a goal-kick.
Great save! Etherington's free-kick was going towards the top corner but Ruddy does well to tip it over the bar.
Norwich struggle to get the ball away and Holt fouls Whelan on the edge of the box. Chance for Stoke this......
Etherington curls in a dangerous cross that Shawcross heads across goal, well defender by Norwich though for a corner.
Bradley Johnson does need a second invitation to have a shot from distance. He gets this one wrong though and it slices well wide.
Holt and Woodgate clash again, the referee giving a free-kick to the home side. Comes to nothing on this occasion though.
Jones and De Laet are down holding their heads after clashing in the air. Nothing malicious about it, just full-blooded commitment.
Ash Slater says via email: "Stoke won't respond at half time. We don't have the strength to change the game. Wait for the reinforcements over the next week. Any points this month are a plus for us right now."
That was a lovely move by norwich by the way, showing they can pass the ball about as well as mix it up in the air.
Good save! Chris Martin fires in a effort on goal from the edge of the box that Begovic does well to push away with two hands.
Early chance for Stoke as Danny Pugh finds himself free at the far post, but he is stretching for it and the ball goes well over.
Fancy a bet on the game? Skybet currently have a Norwich win at 2/5, the draw 11/4 and a Stoke win at a tasty 8/1
Nav Bhandal says via email: "Had a £10 bet with my friend that Stoke would not beat Norwich. I've got to admit it feels good right now knowing I've got bragging rights."
Lots of happy Norwich fans about, understandably, but Stokies, how will your side respond at half time? Let me know: @Tom_Mallows or Tom.Mallows@bskyb.com
Peter West says via email: "45 mins left, this would be a great result for Norwich. Grant Holt is going to be the key this season!! ON THE BALL CITY !!!!
Marius Abram says via email: "Well well well, we're not the weak pushovers all the foolish Stoke fans thought we were. We can mix it with the most physical of teams when we have to, and have the quality too."
Don't forget you can contact me via Twitter @Tom_Mallows or email Tom.Mallows@bskyb.com if you want to have your say on the game. I'll do my very best to post your opinions.
There's the half-time whistle. Paul lambert will be delighted with his side's performance so far, they grew stronger as the half went on. Plenty to ponder for Stoke manager Tony Pulis though, they have not done enough in the Norwich penalty area for me.
A mix-up in the Stoke defence nearly lets Chris Martin in, but the striker is pushed wide and the Potters manage to get players back to snuff out the danger.
Norwich probably just about deserve their lead, Stoke haven't donw enough in the opposition penalty area for me. Can they see out this half though? Paul Lambert would love to get them in at the break with a lead.
Bennett puts in a teasing cross that Woodgate stretches to block but only succeeds in sending the ball spinning towards goal. Begovic does really well to tip the ball round the post.
From the resulting free-kick Johnson curls in a wonderfull ball that Ritchie de Laet meets to glance past Begovic. Advantage Norwich!
Yellow card: Ouch! Bennett is too quick for Jonathan Woodgate who goes steaming in and completely misses the ball, sending the Norwich player flying.Woodgate is Rightly booked.
Grant Holt is giving as good as he gets against the Stoke defenders. Could be a big player for Norwich this season.
Substitution for Stoke: He couldn't run it off. Jermaine Penannt, who picked up what looked like a thigh or knee injury in the warm-up, walks off to be replaced by Danny Pugh. Huge blow for Stoke that.
Good save! Stoke build a flowing attack from one side of the pitch to the other. Penannt, feeding Jones, feeding Etherington, whose shot from the angle is pushed away by Ruddy.
For those asking, I understand Steve Morison picked up a groin injury ahead of the game, hence his absence. I'll try and chase confirmation on that though...
Grant Holt chases a long ball and goes down rather easily following a coming together with Woodgate. nothing given - and rightly so. Fascinating battle already brewing between those two though.
Chance for Norwich! Holt heads down for Pilkington in the area but his first time shot is well blocked by Ryan Shawcross. Looked to be goalbound that.
Norwich really getting going now, Bradley Johnson tries a long-range effort that takes a deflection for a corner.
Great acceleration by Elliot Bennett as he scampers to the by-line on the right. His cross though can't find a Norwich head.
Jonathan Woodgate has made a soild start for Stoke. If he stays fit then the Potters have got a bargain there. Back to matters on the pitch and Matthew Etherington can't get on the end of Walters' cross-field pass, the ball drifting out for a throw.
More bird-related abuse for Norwich fans, got a response?Contact me via Twitter @Tom_Mallows or email Tom.Mallows@bskyb.com
Steve Thacker says via email: "C'mon Stoke let's kill these Budgie boys off early on...Potters forever!!!"
We do have a shot on target, but it isn't going to give Asmir Begovic any nightmares. Pilkington's long-range effort is a tame one which the Stoke 'keeper gathers easily.
Appeals for a penalty as Leon Barnett goes down in the area following an aerial challenge with Robert Huth. Referee Swarbrick says no and I think it was the correct decision, Barnett went down a little easy there in my opinion.
Kenwyne Jones is going to be a threat today, he has had the beating of the Norwich defenders early on. Pennant appears to have shaken off that early injury by the way.
Problems for Stoke, Pennant appears to be holding his ankle. He is on the field for now, but he may not last the half.
Glenn Whelan gives the ball away on the edge of his own box but Anthony Pilkington's shot is well blocked by a Stoke defender.
Early chance for Stoke as Jermaine Pennant feeds Jonathan Walters, but his first-time snap-shot is straight at John Ruddy.
Loving all the comments guys, I'll do my best to show them all - but if I can't today, join me throughout the season and I'll do my best to feature your views!
@cwoods1985 says via Twitter: I think it will be a comfortable win for Stoke, keeping a clean sheet in the process - Huth or Shawcross to score.
Matthew, all the way from Perth in Australia, says via email: "I think the game will end up 1-1 with someone getting on the end of a Delap throw for the first goal for Stoke, and Norwich to hit back late."
I agree Jerald, Hoolahan was hugely impressive last season and scored a crucial goal last week. Plus he is in my fantasy team. Did I already mention that??
Jerald Aidoo says via email: "I can see Grant Holt getting a brace here and Norwich being 2-1 surprise winners. Bit shocked Hoolahan is on the bench though."
Yellow sparrows eh? Got a response Norwich fans? Contact me via Twitter @Tom_Mallows or email Tom.Mallows@bskyb.com
Peter Redden via email says: "This has got a 4-2 Stoke victory written all over it! Welcome to the Premier League yellow sparrows, this is how you do it!! C'mon Stoke."
Luke Keir says via email: "I think it will be a 2-0 Stoke win, they looked solid in the Europa League even away from home. So I'm backing The Potters to come away with maximum points today, with Jones and Walters Scoring."
Fancy a bet on today's match? Skybet has Norwich at 7/4 for the win, with Stoke 6/4 and the draw 23/10
Stoke make four changes from the team which beat FC Thun in their Europa League qualifier on Thursday night. Asmir Begovic is back in goal, while Jonathan Woodgate, Jermaine Pennant and Glenn Whelan are also recalled.
