New signings for Norwich, doubts for Bury

Ryan Bertrand could make his debut for Norwich City, while Bury may be without two defenders for the game at Carrow Road. Norwich have signed Bertrand on loan from Chelsea for the rest of the season and he may line up for the FA Cup third round tie. The full-back has just completed a loan spell at Oldham Athletic, but has not played in the competition this season. Matty Pattison is eligible to play for Norwich after turning his loan spell from Newcastle United into a permanent arrangement. Mo Camara has returned to Carrow Road on loan from Derby County and is also in contention to figure. Jason Shackell is doubtful, though, so the evergreen Dion Dublin may drop in at centre-half.

Bury news

League Two side Bury will make a late decision on the fitness of Paul Scott and Paul Morgan as Chris Casper hopes to spring a shock. Scott (knee) and Morgan (thigh) both picked up injuries in training last Friday and have sat out Bury's last two matches. Shakers boss Casper will definitely be unable to call upon loan signing Simon Yeo as he is cup-tied after his move from Chester. Captain Dave Challinor will maintain his place in defence after suffering no further problems following knee surgery, while striker Andrew Mangan is also hoping for a role after a hernia problem.
