How did your Premier League favourites get on in Chile? Here's our club-by-club summary.
Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez had the final say at this summer's Copa America as he clipped home the winning penalty for hosts Chile in their shoot-out victory over Argentina.
There was also glory for former Queens Park Rangers loanees Mauricio Isla and Eduardo Vargas, with the latter finishing as joint-top scorer in the tournament.
However, there was disappointment for plenty of others too. So who will be reporting back for pre-season training full of confidence and who'll be licking their wounds?
Here's our round-up of the Premier League players involved at the Copa America…
Arsenal
Alexis Sanchez scored only once in normal play in Chile but his shoot-out winner against Argentina will ensure his place in his country's history. He will surely return to Arsenal elated and emotionally exhausted. While there was glory for Sanchez, goalkeeper David Ospina had to contend with the disappointment of Arsenal pursuing Petr Cech back in England while he was trying to win the tournament with Colombia. It didn't seem to affect Ospina's performances as he played a starring role in the quarter-final against Argentina - making a series of saves from Lionel Messi and the rest, only to be eliminated after a shoot-out.
Chelsea
While Arsene Wenger will be dealing with Sanchez's excitement, Jose Mourinho must lift his Brazilian duo of Filipe Luis and Willian. The pair played in all four of Brazil's games in Chile, although Willian was substituted with his team 1-0 up in their quarter-final against Paraguay. Ultimately, that ended in shoot-out defeat and another inquest into the state of Brazilian football. Elsewhere, Juan Cuadrado scored in Colombia's shoot-out defeat to Argentina but was otherwise part of a fairly turgid outfit that found the net only once in four matches. Whether his efforts were enough to persuade Mourinho to put him at the heart of his Chelsea plans seems unlikely.
Liverpool
Philippe Coutinho missed Brazil's first group game against Peru but forced his way into the starting line-up as the tournament progressed, playing from the left in the quarter-final against Paraguay. Indeed, his delightful 'sombrero' skill to lift the ball away from his marker in that game was one of the few bright spots for Dunga's side. New Liverpool team-mate Roberto Firmino had a mixed tournament - missing a glorious chance against Colombia but bouncing back to score the winner against Venezuela.
Man City
Fernandinho also scored his penalty in that shoot-out against Paraguay but the Man City midfielder, who played every minute of his country's campaign, might also be regarded as an example of the limitations of Dunga's Brazil. Club team-mate Sergio Aguero provided rather more sparkle and his three goals in the tournament made him Argentina's top scorer. Indeed, the decision to withdraw Aguero in favour of Gonzalo Higuain during the final rather than allow him to stay on the pitch with Pablo Zabaleta and Martin Demichelis was arguably a contributory factor in their defeat.
Man Utd
The form of Angel di Maria might have offered real hope for Manchester United supporters that the Argentine star could reproduce these efforts in a red shirt. Di Maria was man of the match in the group game against Jamaica and then scored twice in his country's 6-1 semi-final victory over Paraguay - a game in which United's Marcos Rojo also found the net. That result provided plenty of optimism ahead of the final but much of it dissipated once Di Maria went off with a hamstring injury in the first half. Could that hamper any confidence boost provided by his improved form?
Best of the rest
Ecuador had Premier League representation in the shape of West Ham's Enner Valencia and Swansea's Jefferson Montero. However, they failed to make the knockout stages despite Valencia scoring twice. Jamaica fared even worse with Leicester's Wes Morgan and Crystal Palace's Adrian Mariappa among the side that lost all three of their group games. Meanwhile, Sunderland's Sebastian Coates featured only once for Uruguay, but Aston Villa's Carlos Sanchez had a better time of it with Colombia - starring in their group win over Brazil - but found himself suspended for their quarter-final defeat to Argentina.
