Chadwick makes recovery for Dons

MK Dons midfielder Luke Chadwick feels fully fit following his comeback from injury after undergoing surgery on a knee problem last season.

The 32-year-old was expected to miss pre-season training, but the former Manchester United player has returned ahead of schedule and has played a full part in the club's preparations for the upcoming campaign. Chadwick told the Dons' official website: "The operation went really well. The surgeon was delighted with how it went and how simple a procedure it turned out to be. "I wasn't due to play in many pre-season friendlies but it went well in Ireland (during a pre-season training camp) and my knee felt fine so we thought it was pointless waiting any longer, so I was allowed to play and see how it feels. "I was never expecting to be fit for the friendlies though so that's even better."
