Parry sees Rovers in top six

Tranmere boss Les Parry believes the club's impressive home form could put them into the top six, although he says it will be a tough task.

Rovers, unbeaten at Prenton Park this season, host Carlisle on Tuesday followed by Wycombe on Saturday and Parry is cautiously optmistic about his side's chances. "People talk about taking one game at a time but it is difficult to do that when you have two home games in a week," he told the Liverpool Daily Post. "People are always going to put them together and say we should be looking for six points. "The two home games give us an opportunity to get a few more places up the table, perhaps into the top six. "We start against Carlisle and we have to be confident. We have to set our goals realistically and for us that means we should not be beaten in these two games."
