Bantams boss pleased with point

New Bradford boss Phil Parkinson was full of praise for penalty hero Michael Flynn after his side's 2-2 draw at home to Bristol Rovers.

Flynn scored twice from the spot in Saturday's League Two clash at Valley Parade, and Parkinson said: "At times our football was a joy to watch and I think we deserved a point. In fact, it should have been three. "Both penalties were deserved - the second one more than the first. We don't have a designated penalty taker, but I like Michael Flynn's technique. "He was playing very well and confident to take the penalties. You need a certain amount of courage to step up to the plate and Michael Flynn showed that. "Even when the match moved into stoppage time I still believed we could get something out of it. We have lots of attacking players and I am always confident something will happen, but I am still looking for new players. "We need more players at this club and we need more competition in certain areas."
