West Bromwich Albion midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu says that he is in no hurry to leave The Hawthorns.
The 24-year-old joined the Premier League club in the middle of the 2009/10 season from French outfit Paris St Germain and enjoyed an impressive campaign last term, scoring seven league goals and providing one assist despite playing in the defensive midfield position.
Mulumbu's performance has not gone unnoticed in other parts of England and should he continue to play just as brilliantly this season, then he could be the subject of a bid from bigger clubs.
However, the DR Congo international has no plans to leave West Brom and told
The Guardian: "Albion have given me a big opportunity and I don't want to disrespect the club.
"I don't think it's a good thing when you make just one good year and go. For the moment, I'm thinking only about Albion.
"I'm proud of what I have done so far - I think I've done well. But it's big pressure now because I need to do the same again."
The Kinshasa-born midfielder is also looking forward to continuing his good run of form for the Baggies and show that last season's success was not a one-off.
"In pre-season that was on my mind but I know it wasn't lucky I was exciting last season," enthused Mulumbu. "If I stopped working it would be bad for me but that's not going to happen. I think I will score ten goals this season."
West Brom are currently third from bottom in the Premier League, having yet to get off the mark, and are at Norwich City on Sunday.
