Pirates Buckle under pressure

Bristol Rovers boss Paul Buckle says fear cost his side as they tumbled out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy 3-1 to Wycombe.

Matt Harrold pulled one back for Rovers, but Wycombe striker Stuart Beavon was the star of the show, taking home the match ball to set up a home draw with Cheltenham in the next round. "We're down to the bare bones at the moment, but we've got to try and get through this sticky patch," Buckle said. "I've no qualms about how the players played as I thought we performed great and on another night we wouldn't have lost. "What we have to do is take away the fear factor and clear our lines properly because whenever we are getting rid of anything flat it's coming straight back to us. "We're in a sticky patch right now, but I have every confidence that I have the players to see us through it."
