Cherries eye up Constable

Bournemouth remain interested in bringing Oxford striker James Constable to Dean Court.

Constable, who has been linked with Swindon and Yeovil, has bagged three goals so far this term and was reported to be the subject of a bid from the Cherries before the transfer window shut last week. And Bournemouth boss Lee Bradbury has admitted he is still keen on the forward. "I've not spoken to him since deadline day, it's something that could happen," he told BBC Radio Solent. "I obviously like the player and we'll see if we can rekindle that when the window opens again."
