New Oldham recruit Shefki Kuqi admits boss Paul Dickov's passion persuaded him to move to Boundary Park on deadline day.
The 34-year-old, a free agent, marked his Latics debut by scoring in Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Huddersfield. The Finnish frontman said: "Paul phoned me at the end of last season but the time wasn't right. "I had a few good offers but this was the best option. I came here because of Paul. "He has the passion and enthusiasm and always gives 100% - that rubs off on the players."
