Pesch searches for positives

Paul Peschisolido took plenty of positives from his Burton side's showing against Shrewsbury, despite the late equaliser.

Albion looked as though they would hang onto a 13th-minute lead given them by one-time Shrews target Calvin Zola. But they were made to pay for failing to turn their pressure in further goals when Terry Gornell came off the bench to head Shrewsbury level six minutes from the end. Saturday's League Two match at the Pirelli Stadium ended 1-1. "I'm disappointed we didn't win the game but I certainly can't fault the endeavour and commitment they've put in," said the Canadian. "Apart from their goal, I thought we were excellent considering we did 120 minutes the other night (at Burnley in the Carling Cup) and did a lot of chasing. "The spirit in the side was excellent and we just needed to capitalise on the spell when we had them under pressure in the second half. "They just caught us out on a cross and scored with a header from distance. But that's football, it can be a cruel game at times. Overall, though, I'm happy with the performance. I thought we were excellent. "There are plenty of positives from the goalkeeper to the front two, enough to suggest I've got myself a good team."
