New Brentford boss Uwe Rosler was thankful for a productive pre-season after his side hit the ground running with a 2-0 win over Yeovil.

Gary Alexander put the hosts ahead from the spot with 30 minutes on the clock and Shaleum Logan popped up to seal the win after the break. Rosler told BBC London 94.9: "I thought it was important to take the momentum from pre-season into the league. "The lads did remarkably well especially in the first half. "I felt we had a very good balancing between playing the way we want to play but also showing some toughness and directness. "We put them under pressure from the first minute."
