Reading boss Brian McDermott has been named Championship Manager of the Month for April while Simeon Jackson picked up the player prize.
McDermott's Royals have been in stunning form over the past couple of months and started April with a five-match winning sequence.
Victories were achieved over Portsmouth, Preston, Nottingham Forest, Scunthorpe and Leicester before a 0-0 draw away to Leeds United on Good Friday.
The only blip was a 3-2 home defeat by relegated Sheffield United before the month closed with a 0-0 draw at Coventry City.
The run of results has helped to secure Reading a play-off spot and the chance to clinch a return to the Premier League.
Norwich City striker Jackson, meanwhile, has run away with the player award for April after scoring eight goals in six appearances.
Jackson notched hat-tricks against Scunthorpe and Derby, and was also on target in the draw at Watford and win at local rivals Ipswich.
He also started May by etching his name into Canaries folklore by scoring the goal at Portsmouth on Monday night which guaranteed the club's promotion to the top flight.
