Hellas Verona have acquired the full registration rights of Argentine forward Juan Manuel Iturbe at a price of 15million euros from FC Porto, the Portuguese giants have announced.
The 20-year-old played on a season-long loan deal at Hellas and scored eight goals in 33 league appearances to help the promoted outfit finish 10th in Serie A.
A statement from FC Porto read:" FC Porto wishes to inform that Hellas Verona exercised their option to buy the sporting rights of Juan Iturbe for the value of 15million euros."
Iturbe joined FC Porto in 2011 but failed to impress in Portugal and was loaned out to Argentine outfit River Plate for six months.
The South American is unlikely to remain at Hellas with the Verona outfit expected to sell him this summer.
Iturbe, once dubbed by the media as "the new Messi", is a reported target of Real Madrid, Roma and Chelsea.
