Hellas Verona head coach Andrea Mandorlini has signed a one-year contract extension that keeps him at the club until June 2015.
The 53-year-old led Verona to a 10th-placed finish in their first Serie A season in 11 years and his previous deal expired this month.
A statement from the club read: "Always together, Mandorlini is our coach for the 2014-15 campaign."
The veteran tactician could not hide his delight, adding: "This is something I really wanted and now that it's done, I'm very happy.
"I believe in this project and in the squad we have.
"We have gone a long way together in the past four years and it would have been a pity not to continue."
Mandorlini guided the Gialloblu to automatic promotion from Serie B last summer and, although Verona were widely backed to struggle this term, he has worked wonders with the side to register 16 league wins.
"We've had a fantastic campaign and we hope we can follow this up next term," he said. "We are already planning for the new season."
