The 35-year-old joined the Viola for the second time in his career in August and says he is happy at the club, for whom he has scored seven goals in 26 league games this term.
But the 2006 World Cup winner is out of contract at the end of the season and admits if there is no enthusiasm from Fiorentina for him to stay, he will leave.
"Sunday may be my last at the Stadio Franchi," he said. "I want to say goodbye to the fans as I don't know whether I'll be staying.
"Everyone knows how happy I am in Florence, but in order for me to stay then there has to be enthusiasm from both sides.
"At the end of the season I will speak with the club and we will make a decision. If there is indifference about me staying then I'll go."
