Crewe Alexandria midfielder Abdul Osman insists the League One club still have plenty to play for this season.

Tuesday's 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth may have dampened their hopes of a play-off spot, but they still have a trip to Wembley in their sights. Alex welcome Coventry to Gresty Road on Wednesday looking to defend a three-goal lead in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area Final second leg, with the winner facing either Leyton Orient or Southend at the home of football. Abdul, who has been a prominent figure in Crewe's midfield this term, told their official website: "We have some tough games between now and the end of the season. "But we want to have them because a lot of them will be against teams who are close to us in the league. "We want to challenge ourselves against the best teams and we have shown that we can match teams like Bournemouth. "It is still very tight and we have to find some real consistency now. I still think there is more to come from me and more to come from the team. "I just try and do my job for the team. The manager wants me to do a job and I just try to do that to the best of my ability. "I am due a goal but that isn't really a part of my game. A goal or two would be a bonus if it helped the team pick up some points, so I would like to chip in with a few."
