Charlton manager Chris Powell has dismissed speculation linking him with a move for Southampton defender Dan Seaborne.
Reports this week claimed the Championship new boys were keen on landing centre-half Seaborne on loan. Seaborne is back to fitness after suffering serious head injuries in an attack outside a Southampton nightclub early last season. But Powell poured cold water on rumours he wants to bring the 25-year-old to The Valley ahead of the new campaign. "No. It's the first time I've heard of that rumour," he said.
