Blues new boy hoping the club sign free agent friend

Birmingham City-bound Morgaro Gomis is hoping the Championship club also swoop for close friend Prince Buaben. Gomis will finalise his St Andrew's switch when the transfer window reopens, although he is already advising the club on another potential new signing. The 25-year-old midfielder hopes Birmingham also move for his former Dundee United team-mate Buaben. Buaben is out of contract this summer and Gomis would be delighted if his friend also joined him in the Second City. "I heard that the club are interested in him (Buaben) too, so hopefully in the next few weeks they can tie down a deal," stated Gomis. "He used to play with me at United but he is a free agent as well now. He is my best friend so if he can join me at Birmingham it would make me so happy."
