Skysports.com understands Falkirk are poised to sign former Rochdale forward Kallum Higginbotham.
Higginbotham is available on a free transfer after being released by Rochdale at the end of last season.
A number of clubs are believed to have shown an interest in Higginbotham, but it seems the 21-year-old is set to make the move to Scotland.
Higginbotham is believed to have been offered a two-year deal at Falkirk and is expected to tie up the move in the next few days.
Bairns boss Steven Pressley is keen to bolster his squad and sees Higginbotham as a key addition for next season.
