Anthony Hudson has agreed a new two-year contract as head coach of the Bahrain national team.
The 32-year-old Englishman has been in charge of the senior side since August 2013 and helped Bahrain qualify for the 2015 Asian Cup.
He has been rewarded with a contract extension and the opportunity to lead the team at the tournament in Australia and beyond.
"I'm extremely excited and very proud," Hudson told Sky Sports. "I love Bahrain and love working with the players.
"I really believe the next few years and beyond will be very exciting for all involved. Most importantly, we will be working to make the people of Bahrain happy and proud."
Hudson, the former Newport manager, initially went out to Bahrain in March 2012 as Under-23 coach when Peter Taylor was coaching the senior team.
