Hatton and Jolley commit to League new boys

AFC Wimbledon have been boosted by the news Sam Hatton and Christian Jolley have signed new contracts. Midfielder Hatton, 23, was named player of the season last term as The Dons finished second before winning promotion via the Blue Square Premier play-offs. Jolley, also 23, was signed from Kingstonian last summer and the versatile attacking player scored 13 goals from 39 games last term. And the pair put pen-to-paper with the Football League newcomers following a pre-season training session on Saturday. The Dons have also offered improved deals to Lee Minshull, Sammy Moore and Rashid Yussuf and despite a delay, manager Terry Brown is confident they will all sign. "There's nothing to be read into this other than that there were some crossed wires," Brown told the club's official website. "All three players are already committed to the club for next season and they will sign the new style contracts later this week."
