Paul Peschisolido insists Tony James is part of his plans despite allowing the defender to join Hereford on loan.
The 34-year-old was voted player of the year last season but has dropped down the pecking order at the Pirelli Stadium following the summer signings of Darren Moore and Nathan Stanton and the return to fitness of Ryan Austin. James is based in Hereford and Peschisolido believes the temporary move makes sense. "It has been a frustrating time for Tony travelling up from Hereford for training and then finding himself sitting on the bench on matchdays," said Peschisolido. "He needs to play some football and it is a good move for him in the short-term, but he is still part of my plans." James, who made more than 250 appearances for Hereford between 1998 and 2006, played for the Bulls at Barnet on Saturday but was unable to prevent a 2-0 defeat that left the Edgar Street club bottom of the League Two table, a result which on Monday cost manager Simon Davey his job.
