Wycombe boss raids former club

Wycombe boss Gary Waddock has raided his former club Aldershot to secure the services of defender Andy Sandell. The left-back has signed a two-year contract at Adams Park and will step into the place vacated by Craig Woodman's departure for Brentford. Sandell becomes the Chairboys' second signing of the day following the arrival of Kieran Murtagh on a free transfer from Yeovil. Waddock told the club's official website: "I've worked with him before. I signed him from Salisbury when I was at Aldershot. "He was out of contract this summer and we had to bring in a replacement for Woody - he fits the bill perfectly. "He's got a good left-foot, he can go forward and he is also very solid defensively."
