Dillon also offers new contracts to several members of squad

Aldershot have released six players following the failure to win promotion, with Chris Blackburn already having found a new club in the shape of Wrexham. John Grant, who is among the club's top five leading goalscorers, has been let go after spending time on loan at Oxford in the latter part of the recent season. Goalkeeper Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz has not been offered a new deal after he slipped to second choice at the Recreation Ground following the recruitment of Jamie Young on a non-contract basis in March. Lewis Chalmers, Dean Howell and Omer Riza are the others to be surplus to requirements along with Blackburn who has joined Wrexham. However, Aaron Brown, Anthony Charles, Scott Donnelly, Kirk Hudson, Andy Sandell, Louie Soares, Dave Winfield and Young have been offered new deals. Shots manager Kevin Dillon has also confirmed that a deal has been offered to free agent Dean Morgan who spent a spell on loan at the club from MK Dons in the final months of the 2009/10 campaign.
