Skysports.com understands Bristol Rovers defender Byron Anthony is in talks over a new contract.
Anthony's current deal expires at the end of the season and this news has alerted a number of other clubs.
Rovers are keen to keep hold of him and are hoping to agree details on a long-term stay to fend off other suitors.
The in-form defender, a former Wales Under-21 international, admits he is keen to resolve his future in the coming weeks.
"Talks over a new deal are progressing and I am hoping to sort it all out sooner rather than later," he told skysports.com.
