Posh striker makes Meadow Lane move

Notts County have signed Peterborough's Danny Crow on a one-month loan deal. County manager Steve Thompson swooped after Crow dropped down the pecking order at London Road. The striker is set to go straight into the Magpies' side for Saturday's League Two clash with Bury. Crow told the club's official website: "Richard Butcher told me what a good club this is, but I already knew that and although a number of clubs were interested in signing me, I wanted to come here.

Determined

"At the moment it's only for a month because I want to see how things go. But I'm determined to make an impact in that time." The former Northampton forward has only recently returned to fitness after a calf strain and has struggled to force his way back into the Posh starting line-up. He has scored twice this season, including the winner in the 2-1 League Two victory over Mansfield, but the spell at Meadow Lane will allow Crow to get some much needed football under his belt.
