Mansfield Town have agreed a deal for striker Alex Fisher, Sky Sports understands.
The 23-year-old began his career with Oxford United before heading to the continent, where he has played ever since.
After leaving Oxford he moved to Spain with Glenn Hoddle's Academy in 2010 where he linked up with local side Jerez Industrial.
After that he moved to Belgium, featuring for KVK Tienen, KRC Mechelen and KSK Heist.
He then snapped up by Italian outfit Monza - who play in the fourth tier of Italian football - who he spent last season with, but he has now been persuaded to return to England with Mansfield.
