Reggie praises Town chief

Reggie Lambe had kind words for Ipswich boss Paul Jewell despite being released, and could now return to Bristol Rovers.

The 20-year-old winger is hoping to secure a contract with Bristol Rovers, who have just appointed Paul Buckle as their new manager. Lambe said: "I went out on loan to Bristol Rovers hoping it would boost my chances of getting another contract with Ipswich, but it wasn't to be. I really enjoyed my time at the club and gained some valuable experience. "Paul Jewell was excellent when he informed of his decision and spoke to me very respectfully. He told me what I needed to improve and I really appreciate that. "There has been other offers. I haven't turned a blind eye to them but I want to see what happens with Rovers first. My agent's sorted everything out for me and I should know more in the next two weeks."
