Defender suffers dislocated shoulder

Lincoln City defender Lee Beevers is likely to be out for several weeks with a dislocated shoulder. Beevers suffered the injury during the first half of Lincoln's 1-0 defeat to Chester City on Friday night. Though a timescale for the stopper's return has not been set, club physio Michael Wait confirmed Beevers is out for the 'foreseeable future'. "Lee went under anaesthetic to have his shoulder put back in place, but he's back home now and will rest up for a few days before he'll be seen by a specialist in shoulder injuries," Wait told the club's official website. "It's too early to say how long he'll be out of action, but it will definitely be for the foreseeable future." Beevers has started 12 games in League Two this season for Lincoln, with the game against Chester being new manager Peter Jackson's first at the helm.
