German goalkeeper Arvid Schenk has left Dundee after playing just one game for the Scottish Premiership side.
The 25-year-old had a debut to forget when he turned out for the Dark Blues in their 6-2 New Year's Day defeat by local rivals Dundee United.
With Kyle Letheren returning to fitness following a thigh injury to challenge Scott Bain for the gloves, Schenk, who previously played for St Pauli, has now been released.
A Dundee statement released on Wednesday read: "Goalkeeper Arvid Schenk has this morning left the club at the end of his contract.
"We would like to wish Arvid all the best for the future and thank him for his efforts while at Dens."
