Veteran midfielder Gavin Rae is to return to Dundee next season for a third spell with the Dark Blues.
The 35-year-old was available as a free agent after being released by new Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes at the end of last season.
Rae started his career at Dens Park in August 1996 and established himself as a first-team regular before moving on to Rangers for £250,000 in January 2004.
After three-and-a-half seasons at Ibrox he headed south to Cardiff City where he spent four years before rejoining Dundee in October 2011.
Rae, who has also won 14 Scotland caps, then departed for Aberdeen in January 2012, but he is now back with Dundee and looking to add to his 236 appearances and 29 goals for the club.
